Heath, Benjamin, D.C.L. by diploma 31 March, 1762, then recorder of Exeter, 'writer and lawyer,' a student of the Middle Temple 1721, entered also in 1729 (as son of Benjamin, of Exeter, merchant), town clerk of Exeter, died 13 Sep., 1766, father of Benjamin Heath, master of Eton, fellow 1784-6, and uncle of John, 1754.
