Ivory, Thomas, 1s. James, of Edinburgh, arm. Balliol Coll., matric. 25 Oct., 1838, aged 20; B.A. 1842, M.A. 1846, bar.-at-law, Lincoln's Inn, 1845, died 1882, his father was the celebrated mathematician said to have been created D.C.L. Oxon.
