Jenkins, Sir Richard, created D.C.L. 13 June, 1834, of Bicton, Salop, G.C.B. 1838, E.I.C.S. 1800-27, a director of the East India Company, M.P. Shrewsbury 1830-3, 1837-41 (son of Richard Jenkins, of Bicton, Salop), died 30 Dec., 1853. See Gent.'s Mag., 1854, i. 197.
