Knight, Samuel Johnes, s. Thomas Johnes, of Ludlow, Salop, arm. Christ Church, matric. 26 Nov., 1774, aged 18, B.A. 1778; fellow All Souls' Coll., M.A. 1782, of Henley Hall, Salop, took the additional name of Knight by royal licence 30 Sep., 1813, vicar of All Souls, Barking, 1783, and rector of Welwyn 1797, until his death 8 July, 1852.
