Knight, Thomas, s. William Broadnax, of Godmersham, Kent, arm. Balliol Coll., matric. 2 June, 1720, aged 18 ; of Godmersham, changed his name to May 1727, and to Knight in 1738, M.P. Canterbury 1734-41, died 26 Feb., 1781, father of Thomas 1755. See Berry's Kent, 126.
