Plymouth June, 1778-80, Staffordshire 1780-86 (elected also for Horsham and Malmesbury 1780), summoned to the House of Lords as Baron Dartmouth 15 June, 1801, P.C 17 March, 1801, lord warden of the Stannaries, etc., 1783, president of the India Board 1801, lord steward of the Household 1802-4, lord chamberlain 1804, K.G. 27 May, 1805, died 10 Nov., 1810.
