Locock, Sir Charles (Bart.), f.r.s., created D.C.L. 5 Aug., 1868 (son of Henry Locock, of Northampton, m.d.), first physician accoucheur to the Queen, D.Med. Edinburgh 1821, F.R.C.P. 1836, created a baronet 5 May, 1857 (having declined it in 1840), and died 23 July, 1875. See Foster's Baronetage & Munk's Roll, iii. 270.
