Mackenzie, Alexander George, 1s. Alexander, of 'Avoch,' co. Ross, equitis. New Coll., matric. 2 June, 1838, aged 20; B.A. 1843, M.A. 1847, of Avoch House, bar.-at-law, Lincoln's Inn, 1844, born 14 Feb., 1818; his father, the celebrated explorer of North-West America, and the discoverer of the Mackenzie River, was knighted at St. James, 10 Feb., 1802, and died 12 March, 1820.
