University Coll., 8 May, 1839, aged 18; scholar 1833-9, B.A. 1837, M.A. 1839, hon. fellow 1872-7, created D.C.L. 17 June, 1874, bar.-at-law, Inner Temple, 1848, Q.C. and a bencher 1861, a lord justice of appeal in bankruptcy, died 15 June, 1877.
