Mussendine, Carteret, s. John, of 'Hilibarn,' (i.e. Hillsboro', Ireland), arm. Wadham Coll., matric. 4 June, 1717, aged 18; of Great and Little Oakley, Essex, assumed the name of Leathes in lieu of his patronymic in 1727, M.P. Sudbury 1727-34, and 1741-7, Harwich 1734-41, died 1787.
