Peploe, John Birch, s. Daniel Webb, of Lamberhurst, Kent, arm. Brasenose Coll., matric. 10 Oct., 1818, aged 18; B.A. 1822, M.A. 1825, of Garnstone Castle, co. Hereford, assumed the surname of Peploe in lieu of his patronymic Webb in 1866, preb. of Hereford 1844, vicar of King's Pyon, co. Hereford, 1825, and Weobley 1826, until his death 26 Jan., 1869.
