Ponsonby, John William, Viscount Duncannon, s. William, Earl of Bessborough. Christ Church, matric. 14 Oct., 1799, aged 17; created M.A. 23 June, 1802, 4th Earl of Bessborough, M.P. 1805-6 and 1812, until created Baron Duncannon 19 July, 1834, chief commissioner of Woods and Forests, died 16 May, 1847.
