Preston, William, 4s. John D'Arcy Jervis, of Askham Bryan, Yorks, cler. Oriel Coll., matric. 19 June, 1851, aged 18 (now William Warcup Peter Consett, of Brawith Hall, Yorks, assumed the name and arms of Consett in lieu of Preston. See Foster's Our Noble and Gentle Families, ii.
