Randalstown 1780-3, assumed the additional surname and arms of Hastings 1790, general in the army 1803, privy councillor 1806, constable of the Tower 1806, governor-general Bengal and commissioner-in-chief India 1812-23, etc., died 28 Nov., 1826.
