Rumney, William, s. Joseph, of Berwick-upon-Tweed, cler. Lincoln Coll., matric. 13 Dec., 1780, aged 18; B.A. 1784, M.A. 1787, rector (and patron) of Swindon, co. Gloucester, 1807, until his death in 1829 (as Romney), evidently altered the spelling of his name.
