Cambridge 1864, canon of Canterbury 1851-8, chaplain to the Prince Consort 1854-61, deputy clerk of the closet, and hon. chaplain in ordinary to the Queen and to the Prince of Wales 1863, dean of Westminster 1864, until his death 18 July, 1881.
