Stephens, Henry, s. Henry, of St. Thomas, Winchester (city), cler. Brasenose Coll., matric. 13 Nov., 1766, aged 18; B.A. from Merton Coll. 1770, chaplain to H.M.S. Scipio, vicar of Britford, Wilts, 1788 until his death 23 March, 1789 (? rector of Hame, Wilts, with St. Thomas and St. Clement's, Winchester, 1744), father of Henry 1766.
