Leicester, 1740, preb. of Westminster 1746, preacher at the chapel in the Broadway, Westminster, 1748, rector of Lawford, Essex, 1751, curate of St. Botolph's, Aldersgate, 1769, rector of St. Margaret's, Westminster, 1784, until his death 29 Feb., 1788.
