Tempest, George Henry Robert Charles William Vane Earl Vane, s. (Charles William), Marquis of Londonderry. Balliol Coll., matric. 14 June, 1839, aged 18; B.A. & M.A. 1867, 5th marquis in 1872 (2nd Earl Vane 1854), M.P. North Durham 1847-54, assumed the additional surname and arms of Tempest by royal licence 28 June, 1854, died 5 Nov., 1884. See Foster's Peerage.
