Villiers, George Child, 5th Earl of Jersey, created D.C.L. 3 July, 1810 (s. George Bussey, 4th earl); M.A. from St. John's Coll., Cambridge, 1794, took the additional name of Child 1819, lord-chamberlain 1830 and 1834-5, P.C. 1830, G.C.H. 1834, master of the horse 1841-6 and 1852, died 3 Oct., 1859.
