Trinity Coll., matric. 7 July, 1821, aged 18; scholar 1822-31, B.A. 1826, M.A. 1831, fellow 1831-42, B.D. 1839, philosophical lecturer and tutor 1831-42, dean 1830, rhetoric lecturer, vice-president 1840, held various curacies 1829-42, wrote No.'s 80. 86 and 87 of 'Tracts for the Times,' died 1 May, 1865, father of Anthony C., and of John Edward.
