SALARIES, ALLOWANCES, PENSIONS, AND OTHER SUMS OF MONEY PAYABLE UNDER THIS ACT.
Dominion of Canada.

To each of County Judges respectively, such salary not exceeding $2,600, nor less than $1,800 per annum, as the Governor in Council may from time to time fix and appoint, but provided that any salary may be reduced to $1,800 after a vacancy.

Five County Judges, each, such salary not exceeding $2,600 nor less than $1,800 per annum, as the Governor in Council may from time to time fix and appoint,—but provided that any salary may be reduced to $1,600 after a vacancy.

Pensions.
To each of the Retired Judges of the Superior Courts of Equity or Law or of Vice-Admiralty mentioned in the foregoing Act, in any one of the four Provinces, such retiring allowance as may have been granted to him under any provision of law in that behalf, before the coming into force of this Act, so long and on the conditions subject to which such retiring allowance or pension was granted, or as may be granted to such Judge under the provisions of this Act, on his resigning oflice, after it takes effect.
