Preliminary research shows that Derleth did not start renewing individual stories until those published in 1929. The earliest I turned up were "The adventure of the missing tenants" (In The Dragnet magazine, June 1929) R189860 and "The house on the highway" (In Weird tales, June 1929) R189866 -- Renewals between 1925 and 1929 appear to be publication renewals rather than individual renewals.
