I found two versions of the same source that quotes his birth day as "1847?"

- I could find no other dates of birth. Changing the listed date of birth to "1847?" which should take him out of Category:? births there seems little chance that a better date will every be available. Jeepday 22:49, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
- Using "1847?" meant that it was previously in a category "1847?" (which doesnt exist - see the categories down the bottom). As a result, I have tweaked it slightly to use the "dates" override, which was hitherto undocumented. I have also suggested that we add another override for "fl."
