The ARRL QST archives show a number of articles and letters-to-the-editor written by E. E. House, Elra E. House, and Elza E. House, all of Battle Creek, MI. I think its reasonable to assume that these people are one and the same. I've done some digging and found that an Elra Erwert House with ties to the Battle Creek, Michigan area at about the same time (see [1], [2], QST/January 1916/Latest List of Additions to American Radio Relay League Stations, [3], and [4]. It's not exactly hard proof, but for now, I'm going to assume that this is the E. E. House who wrote the articles. Sagsaw (talk) 01:53, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
