Francis Joseph Dickie (1890-1976) was a writer who wrote more than 150 pieces (short stories, novels and magazine articles). He was born in Carberry, Manitoba and died in Victoria, British Columbia. His parents were Agnes Jane (McLeod) and Noble Dickie. He married Suzanne (last name unknown) on an unknown date. Dickie had been a foreign correspondent in Paris during unknown dates. He returned to Canada and bought land on Quadra Island, British Columbia, later returning to Europe for seven years before moving back to Canada. Further biographical information is unknown.
