@Billinghurst: w:Frank Herbert Brown now exists, and the sparse personal information there comes from "Who was Who". The father's name is given there as "Rev. J. Brown, Upwell, Wisbech". My guess is that this is the Joseph Brown of Upwell mentioned on https://archive.org/details/baptisthandbook00irelgoog/page/n388/mode/1up, and therefore a Baptist minister. If so, I expect a sister Nancie, from a newspaper report of her marriage. Does this check out, for example in the 1871 census? It looks like Brown was at the Baptist Chapel of Upwell until the late 1880s, anyway.
Frank Brown married Louisa Clara Pinchbeck, daughter of Henry Pinchbeck; not finding anything about this.
Speculative things on w:Talk: Frank Herbert Brown aren't looking helpful right now. Upwell has nonconformist and Owenite/Chartist history, but maybe not relevant here. Charles Matthews (talk) 20:23, 19 March 2021 (UTC)
