I can’t find much information beyond him working as a statistician for the Canadian department of Agriculture. I think he might have joined Canadian armed forces, but not 100% sure it’s the same person, (see: Item. 849: Promotion of S.C.D. Roper, Colonial Auxiliary Forces Long Service Medal awarded, Volunteer Decoration awarded. Maybe someone with more knowledge of Canadian military system can find out more.
