Edition of James Boswell's Life of Samuel Johnson, first published in 1887.

Hill's work in six volumes is copiously annotated, and became standard to such an extent that when in the 20th century, L. F. Powell was commissioned to revise it (1934–64), Hill's pagination was retained. Warning: template has been deprecated.
