Mudslinging Charge Of Dr. Day Pitiful, Says E. J. O'Malley. E. J. O'Malley, one of the dismissed Deputy Commissioners of Health was found at his desk in the Charities Department and when asked for a statement, ridiculed Dr. Day's charges and declared he did not think they deserved serious consideration. He denied that he knew anything about the offer Dr. Day alleged came "The only comment I have to make" he added "is that Dr. Day should be confined somewhere in some suitable institution for his own good. His mudslinging charges are pitiful and ridiculous. I cannot understand how he expects such charges to ring true if we interpret his own statement literally."
