Category:Captivity narratives

Captivity narratives are usually stories of people captured by enemies whom they consider uncivilized, or whose beliefs and customs they oppose. They could be entirely fictional works, or non-fictional (but usually sensationalized) biographies.

These narratives usually rely on racist stereotyping. As such, it is probably a good idea to mark the talk pages of most works here with {{Moral disclaimer}}.
