Agricola, Martinus. A chorister in the Cathedral of Magdeburg. He wrote several tracts on music, the principal of which were re-published at Wittenburg, after his death, under the title of "Duo Libre' Musices continentes Compendium Artis et illustria Exempla." Agricola died in 1556.
