BABRA'NTIUM (Βαβράντιον: Eth. Βαβράντιος), a place in the neighbourhood of Chios, mentioned by Polybius in his sixteenth book, as quoted by Stephanus, s. v. Βαβράντιον It may be the same place as Babras.[ G. L. ]
