Mr. J. E. Jones will, in all probability, rebuild his brick building in the spring. This makes the seventh man who has told us he contemplated building a brick.

Messrs. Dusenbery & Co. have erected two business houses two or three lots east of where their old store stood, which will be occupied by Mr. Wood, the postmaster; also by the shoemaker and the barber.

The carpenters have the frame of Fletcher & McDaniel’s two-story building up. The lower story will be occupied by Messrs. Rowland & Powell, Mr. W. H. McCoy and Mr. Fred Pauly. The upper story will be used as a lodge room by the Free Masons, Odd Fellows and United.
