Hortus Kewensis (Latin for "Kew Garden") was a catalogue of the plants at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. The first two editions were published by J. Hill in Latin. The third ("1st") edition was published in English by J. Banks's librarians under the name of W. Aiton, whose notes they used in the compilation of the work. The fourth ("2nd") edition was published under W. Aiton's name with its expansion and correction mostly done by his son W.T. Aiton.
