The work is transcribed 'as-is' so far as is possible, with the following exceptions:

1. Speech is indicated by " at the start of a verse. Mostly the " is at the top of the line, but sometimes it is at the bottom. The latter are converted to 'top' double quotation marks.

2. The work contains annotations, which appear immediately before or after the stanza to which they refer. These have been formatted as footnotes, and so appear at the bottom of the page (or end of the work when transcluded).

3. Occasionally, the annotations do not have an indicated insertion point. Where so, I have positioned them where they seem to belong, to the best of my judgement. I have annotated the footnote with a 'tooltip' in such cases.
