Moving endnotes into sections edit

A while ago somebody, I think Billinghurst, showed me how to convert endnotes into end-of-section notes. I have lost track of the instructions, and wasn't able to find the exact steps, but I think I pieced it together in the Marion County chapter. The only feature this is missing is the ability to link "upward" -- that is, to navigate from the footnote to the section that refers to it in the text. Probably not mission critical. Noting a bit of progress: ShakespeareFan00 introduced me to the {{authority reference}} template, which I've attempted to introduce in the Benton County chapter. This is an improvement; but I am not sure how to address the numbering of references (the numbering for Benton County starts at 25). -Pete (talk) 23:29, 20 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
