Please note: Page:Indian mathematics, Kaye (1915).djvu/41 and Page:Indian mathematics, Kaye (1915).djvu/43 are both scans of the same page (although unnumbered, it must be page 27, as text flows into that of numbered page 28.) AuFCL (talk) 10:56, 19 February 2014 (UTC)

Fortunately we do not have any page missing in the scan. I have marked Page no. 43 as without text and can be ignored while transcluding. Perhaps the commons file needs to be changed by replacing with a blank page. Solomon7968 (talk) 16:19, 19 February 2014 (UTC)

Also note: The contents page structure does not match the actual book chapter structure. In particular, the Contents suggests Chapter VIII is titled "Foreign Influence" with three sub-sections: Chinese, Arab and Greek. However the page content suggests "Greek Influence" (term not used—in fact the text does not name Chapter IX at all) was intended to standalone Chapter IX, starting at page 44. The image on page 29 looked fuzzy and a bit crooked to me, so I uploaded another version to Commons. That can be reverted in Commons if you don't like it. Outlier59 (talk) 00:15, 25 March 2016 (UTC)

S'ulvasūtra -- spelling?

The text uses what we transcribe as S'ulvasūtra several times, but I think what is intended is Śulvasūtra, and the limitations of typesetting didn't let them get the accent in quite the right spot. Should we write it as Śulvasūtra or continue with S'ulvasūtra?--Prosfilaes (talk) 12:41, 21 January 2018 (UTC)
