This book appears to have been manually transcribed some time ago, and was not scan-backed.
I have begun a match & split to connect it to a scan of the book. The text quality appears good; there are a few things I've noticed, to watch out for while proofreading:
- Italicized text seems to have been rendered by the original transcriber in ALL CAPS
- Many double paragraph breaks were rendered as single paragraph breaks
- Some Small Caps text is rendered as ALL CAPS
- Chapter numbers are not transcribed at the beginning of chapters
Oveall, the quality seems very good, though. I have no reason to think this transcription came from a significantly different edition (but only careful proofreading will reveal that). -Pete (talk) 08:28, 3 January 2022 (UTC)
