The book consists of an Acknowledgement and Preface (both in Latin), followed by 15 Odes. These Odes are given in both Latin (on the left hand page) and English (on the right). There is also a lengthy Appendix containing what appear to be variants of the Odes (in Latin only), along with a literal translation of some text, which is preceded by a sentence, in Latin. I suppose this explains what follows but, as I don't know Latin, and the Google Latin - English translation is as helpful as usual, I can't figure out what it means.

With the exception of the Acknowledgement and Preface, only the English text has been transcribed.Chrisguise (talk) 23:11, 15 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
