Different from vol 1
editThis file differs slightly from volume 1, and is from the same set as volume 2(B): it is from a different biblio-set on BHL, which has the Plates incorporated in the volume.
I'll take the Plates from the separate vol in BHL: Plates to vol 3.
Format headers (sub-)chapters
editsee vol 1:
- header chapter - example: Page:TheTreesOfGreatBritainAndIreland vol01.djvu/29 and Page:TheTreesOfGreatBritainAndIreland vol03B.djvu/98
- subchapter: Page:TheTreesOfGreatBritainAndIreland vol01.djvu/34
- subchapter halfway page: Page:TheTreesOfGreatBritainAndIreland vol02B.djvu/41 and Page:TheTreesOfGreatBritainAndIreland vol03B.djvu/86
Plates
edit- for "vertical Plate" see e.g.: Page:TheTreesOfGreatBritainAndIreland vol03B.djvu/35
- for "horizontal Plate" see: Page:TheTreesOfGreatBritainAndIreland vol03B.djvu/29
- for "two horizontal Plates" see: Page:TheTreesOfGreatBritainAndIreland vol03B.djvu/109
Procedure
editAfter checking the whole volume, and marking the empty pages:
- I'll make a very quick round for the even pages, first: header, footer, paragraphs etc. (and for the Plates)
- then for the odd pages.
- then make a separate round for the italics etc. for all pages.
- then make another round for the cleanup ocr and footnotes for all pages.
Then the text is ready for proofreading.
