Index talk:The Reminiscences of Carl Schurz (Volume Two).djvu
Strategy
editMy strategy for this volume will be to first mark all of the pages which don't need to be proofread and then install the illustrations. I will do this before I specify header and footer material in the index, because this material isn't needed and is just a nuisance when marking the blank pages and installing the illustrations. Style
editI prefer to keep the line breaks in the text as I think they make it easier to proofread, and, contrary to some pronouncements I have run into, they do not create problems for transclusion if properly handled. I also use curly quote marks as I think they look better. Inter-page hyphenations are explicitly specified due to the transclusion method I use which transcludes page by page using {{page}}, with pages sometimes divided into sections. This allows a better placement of the illustrations. Bob Burkhardt (talk) 20:55, 12 August 2021 (UTC)
