James J. Norton, Elevator Operator. James J. Norton, 68, of 43 Emory, Jersey City, suffered a fatal heart attack yesterday while at work as an elevator operator at 2600 Blvd., Jersey City. During World War I, Mr. Norton served as a corporal in the Army. He was a member of the Albert Quinn Post, American Legion, and the Holy Name Society of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church. The Richmond F. Routh Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. See death notice.
