SENATE BILL NO. 247

AN ACT Designating and Establishing a State Road to Be Known as State Road 8-A, Extending From State Road 2 at Leesburg via Haines City, Avon Park, Moore Haven to Clewiston.

Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

Section 1. That there is hereby designated and established as State Road 8-A, a road extending from State Road No. 2 at Leesburg via Haines City, Avon Park, Moore Haven to Clewiston.

Section 2. That the establishment of said road shall not have the effect of abolishing or discontinuing any part of State Road 8; provided, however, the State Road Department may survey and locate the line of route of said State Road 8-A, along coincident or parallel to any part of State Road 8.

Section 3. This Act shall take effect immediately upon its becoming a law.
