Suffolk, a student of Lincoln's Inn 18 Jan., 1840 (then aged 24), called to the bar 30 Jan., 1844 (younger son of Sir Robert Shafto Adair, Bart., and brother of Lord Waveney); born 26 Dec., 1815; married 10 July, 1856, his cousin, Harriet Camilla, dau. of Alexander Adair, Esq., of Heatherton Park, Somerset, and has issue (see Foster's Peerage, B. Waveney).
