Bell, William James, B.A. Clare Coll., Camb., conveyancer and equity draftsman, a student of the Inner Temple 6 Oct., 1879 (then aged 20), called to the bar 21 June, 1882 (only son of Dr. James Bell, F.R.S., F.C.S., of Howell Hill House, Surrey, professor of chemistry); born 3 May, 1859; married 26 Sept., 1882, Bertha Diana, dau. of late George Torr, Esq., of Garbrand Hall, Surrey, and has issue.
