Southampton, a student of Lincoln's Inn 13 March, 1840 (then aged 23), called to the bar 19 Nov., 1844 (2nd son of Robert Benson, Esq., of Liverpool); born 3 Aug., 1816; married 9 Dec., 1852, Elizabeth Soulsby, dau. of Thomas Smith, Esq., of Colebrooke Park, Tunbridge, and has issue.
