Surrey, a student of Lincoln's Inn 30 Oct., 1846 (then aged 23), called to the bar 14 Nov., 1851 (eldest son of late Joshua Blackburn, of Brockwell Hall, Surrey); born 5 Dec., 1822; married 5 Feb., 1853, Mary Ann, 2nd dau. of late Edward Smiles, of Newcastle-on-Tyne, surgeon; she died 9 May, 1882.
