Totnes 1839-40, a student of Gray's Inn 24 Nov., 1827, called to the bar 1 May, 1833, called to the bench 16 Jan., 1867 (2nd son of William Blount, Esq., of Nantes, Brittany); born 11 April, 1799; married 1st, , 1821, Eliza, dau. of Thomas Wright, of Fitzwalters, Essex; she died 6 Feb., 1826, leaving issue; he married 2ndly, 31 March, 1839, Lady Charlotte Jane Seymour, dau. of Edward Adolphus, 11th duke of Somerset, and has issue (see Foster's Peerage).
