Cardigan, a student of the Inner Temple 15 Nov., 1853 (then aged 22), called to the bar 17 Nov., 1856 (only son of late Rev. Augustus Brigstocke, of Gellidywyn, co. Carmarthen); born 17 May, 1831; married 1st, 30 Nov., 1852, Emmeline, youngest dau. of late Oliver Lloyd, Esq.; she died , 1868; he married, 2ndly, , 1869, Annie, eldest dau. of late William Forsyth Grant, Esq., of Ecclesgreig, co. Kincardine, and has issue.
